Based in the UK, I work as a therapist, supervisor, and mindfulness teacher. I have worked as a counsellor for over 20 years, with adults, children and families, and studied mindfulness and transpersonal psychology for almost 30 years.
If you're interested in working with me, or if you'd like to find out more about my work, please do get in touch.
What is Psychotherapy?
A safe space in which to face the challenges of your life.
An ally to listen and empathise, someone to share ideas with and help you find new perspectives.
An opportunity to learn and develop beneficial skills and attitudes.
Support to activate your positive potentials.
My approach to therapy has been shaped by more than two decades of experience working with adults, children, young people, and families. I take a mindfulness and compassion based approach, drawing on a wide range of training and research in humanistic, transpersonal, and cognitive-behavioural therapies. My primary goal is to develop a good therapeutic alliance with each person, working together to move towards their goals in a way that fits their unique needs and wishes.
I have a particular interest in helping people get free of the limitations and sufferings related to anxiety. I have had my own personal experiences with anxiety and understand what a tricky process it can be to navigate through. Likewise I have personal experience with tinnitus and coming to terms with that. However, I also have a wide range of experience with helping people who suffer with depression, trauma, anger-related problems and relationship issues. If you think I might be able to help you or someone you care about, please do get in touch.
