In my early twenties, after the band I was playing in fell apart, I found myself in a bit of a wasteland. Fortunately, I simultaneously discovered 2 things - the Prince's Trust Community Venture ands shamanism. These led me to a Master’s in music at the Birmingham Conservatoire, where I explored shamanism as a global human phenomenon. The question that stayed with me was: what is the form of this in modern Britain? Through the work of Arnold Mindell, I came to see therapy as one possible answer.

For me, music and therapy arise from the same place—creativity, presence, and improvisation. Both are ways of listening deeply, of responding in the moment, and of supporting processes of healing, connection and transformation.

My music explores themes of deep ecology, compassion, freedom and our belonging within the whole. The process is immersive and intuitive, often effortless when it flows. I hope what emerges offers a sense of journey—whether through a groove, a spacious soundscape, or a simple message from the heart.

What is Psychotherapy?

Psychotherapy offers a safe space for people to explore and face life’s challenges with the support of an empathic ally. It’s a chance to develop self-awareness, explore new perspectives, develop your strengths and build resilience.

How I Approach Therapy?

With over two decades of experience working with adults, young people, and families, my approach blends mindfulness, acceptance and compassion with elements of humanistic, transpersonal, and cognitive-behavioural therapies. My primary goal is to create a therapeutic alliance that honours people's unique needs, helping them work toward their goals at a pace that feels right for them.

I’m particularly dedicated to helping people find freedom from anxiety,

a journey I’m familiar with from my own experiences.

I also understand firsthand the challenges of living with tinnitus and have

helped clients with depression, trauma, anger, and relationship concerns.

If you think I may be able to support you or someone close to you, please feel very welcome to get in touch.

River Wye
Music Project

Alongside my work as a therapist, I am currently producing a collection of songs highlighting the pollution crisis affecting the River Wye.

The project's aim is to raise awareness, support and inspire positive action, and help save the river.
